TripleNine enters into joint venture for the production of fishmeal and fish oil in China

This is the result of a visit to TripleNine by six representatives of DBN, TripleNine's new customer in China.

Already in January this year, during a trip to China, TripleNine's Business Development Manager Yanqi Zhang Larsen and CEO Christian Bisgaard succeeded in landing the company's first order for fishmeal to China after TripleNine was officially approved for export of fishmeal and fish oil to the significant Chinese market just before Christmas.

The feed producer DBN was the first Chinese customer.

In mid May this year, six representatives of DBN returned the TripleNine visit.

They visited TripleNine in both Thyborøn and Esbjerg, where the Chinese representatives were given a detailed introduction to TripleNine's production of fishmeal and fish oil as well as to stock management, sampling, laboratory examinations, etc.

CEO Christian Bisgaard: - Entering into a joint venture with DBN means that we will be producing fishmeal and fish oil on the world's largest market for these products.

- It was a very good and positive visit, which, among other things, resulted in an agreement with the Chinese to form a joint venture between DBN and TripleNine for the purpose of producing fishmeal and fish oil in China, says Christian Bisgaard.

- DBN will be able to benefit from our experience as producers of high quality fishmeal and fish oil, while we will be producing fishmeal and fish oil on the world's largest market for these products.

With a feed production of approx. two million tons in 2010, DBN - Beijing Dabeinong Technologies Groups Co. Ltd - is one of China's largest feed producers and the largest producer of feed for piglets.

With a production of 220,000 tons in 2010, the company is the largest producer of primix feed products in China. DBN is also co-owner of a large fishmeal factory.
